What dog breeds only have an undercoat?
There was a local dog breed 100+ years ago that was bred to only have an undercoat, so its fur could be used like wool. (Sheep didn't exist here) The breed is long extinct, and I'm looking for other breeds with only an undercoat.

- In China chows are still being used for their fur and.......meat.
- A few nowadays have undercoats (not sure about the extinct breed,... not old enough!). Labs, Huskies, to name a couple.
