Where can you get magnetic dog collars or even magnetic dog beds..?
Has anyone heard anything good about magnetic dog collars for relieving arthritis symptoms in dogs? I have a greyhound who broke his front and back leg when he raced and now he has really bad arthritis. He also has a screw in each of his legs from the surgery. Any suggestions? He's already on glucosamine and it hasn't helped much at all. ANyone know anything I can do to help him out a little more?

- Something like this? http://www.armadillo-products.co.uk/products_dog_bed.htm Just google it and it'll come up with loads of options. [:
- I don't see how placebos can possibly work on dogs. They have no idea the placebo is supposed to do anything for them! If your vet can't offer something real, then there really isn't anything that is going to work.
- Good for you for not putting him on dangerous steroids! I have an elderly cat, and I have been using Turmeric on her, and also more stringent weight control. She's doing a lot better, believe it or not. There's also a supplement called Cosequin I'm considering. Now this is all info about cats, but I can imagine it's probably applicable to dogs as well. But please don't give him anything that hasn't been cleared by a vet, because I'd hate to be wrong!
