Briging a Pet Dog to Bangkok from the Philippines?
I will be traveling to Bangkok from the Philippines next month and I plan to bring with me my pet dog. He is a 3 year old Mini Schnauzer. What are the requirements of both countries? What government agencies in the Philippines and in Bangkok do I need to get in touch with regarding this. Thanks.

- It is true that Asian man walking sideways through turnstile is going to Bangkok?
- There are some answers and suggestions on this Thai Visa link: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Pet-Quarantine-t47736.html It is one thing if you are making a long time move to Thailand but if it is only a short visit the flight could kill the dog. Some dogs go all crazy during the flight or don't adjust to the air pressure and end up in pain. If it is a short visit to Thailand then consider leaving the mutt in the P.I. You should get some advice from a vet before you fly. Some small dogs and cats are stored under the seat in front of you during the flight. Make sure the dog is free of fleas; I have been on planes before where I have had my ankles bit by fleas. Good luck anyway.
