Are you allowed to take your pet dog to crufts?

Are you allowed as a member of the general public to bring your pet dog along with you ( if you have proof of vacination? )Or are only competing dogs allowed thanks

  1. Pedigree dogs only!
  2. You are not allowed to bring a dog onto the show site, unless it is competing in the show or unless that is your personal service dog.
  3. The dog has to be competing or a personal working dog. ie Guide Dog. Ordinary pets are not allowed pedigree or otherwise.
  4. No - sorry - only dogs that have qualified for Crufts, by being placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in their class at one of the many Championship Dog shows throughout the country - or who has gone best of breed at an Open Dog show - or who has qualified for life at Crufts, can be admitted. It costs exhibitors upwards of £25 per dog per class to enter Crufts - and that's before they pay for parking, etc!!
  5. the answer is no only dogs that are in the showing are allowed sorry,,
  6. Certainly not! Only competing dogs are allowed.
  7. only competing dogs not neccisarily pedigree as a lot of the agility and exhibition dogs are mix breed. only the show dogs need be perfect pedigree and breed standard x
  8. sorry honey but unless your dog is part of the show, there to see for you or hear for you it wont get in - not even if you buy it a ticket, but if it does have the skills to buy one its self then they might make an exception!
  9. As everyone has already said the answer is no. You wouldn't want to take your dog any way as it gets very crowded and it wouldn't be fair on your dog. If only everyone took the time to find out. You'd be surprised how many people turn up with their family pet only to find out they're not allowed in with them. Most will go home but there are a few mindless people that just leave their dog in the car.
  10. Apart from the very obvious answer being no. it also begs the question, Why would you want to? it would be pretty scary for a pet dog, 1000's of other dogs and not to mention all the strange humans, I wouldn't subject any of my dogs to that!!
  11. No you cannot take your pet dog to Crufts unless it is being exhibited (shown). Obviously this doesn't apply to service dogs such as Guide dogs etc. http://www.crufts.org.uk
  12. hi, i went to crufts last year and asked them the same question, you can only take your dog with you if they are in one of the competitions etc. Pet dogs pedigree or not are not allowed.
  13. Dogs entering crufts have to be immunised against illnesses and produce proof of same. You could easily introduce distemper or kennel cough or any other number of illness into their proximity however innocently. So no pets are not allowed into Crufts
  14. No! Pedigree or not - only those dogs that are qualified or there by Kennel Club invitation are allowed in.
  15. You have obviously never been to Crufts or you would not want to take your pet along; it is busy and bewildering and the answer is NO. Only canines that have been shown and awarded the appropriate "certificates of excellence" can be taken into Crufts. However there is no reason why you should stay away - as they have brilliant products on sale that i am sure you would love to take home for your pet, as well as watching the dogs in the show rings. So leave your pet at home and go and have a great time. Just because your dog is not a show dog doesn't mean it can't watch the event on the television!!! Best wishes... :)
  16. yes you are a loude to take a dog in only a gide dog not others unless your dog in the show by
