What was the software of a pet dog that lived on desktop?
Sometime in the 1990's my parents bought a computer and it came with a software program where a pet dog sat on the desktop. All i can remember is that it had a whie "mickey mouse type" glove that you could pet the dog and play ball, etc. And I remember when you'd play catch, the dog would run all over the screen after it. Does anyone remember this or know what the program was called? Okay...I dont think it was "BOB" and I think the computer was a Packard Bell, or possibly IBM....

- BOB, it came with Gateway computers (Microsoft Bob)...I think I may still have it!!!
- He was the assistant in MS products. He was on my computer as well. His name was Rover! He was part of the now defunct MS Assistants in the Microsoft Bob thing they had going. Check this link (scroll down the Wiki page to "Cartoon Helper People").
- no, sounds cute, though. I have some cats: neko is a white kitten that chases the cursor, and Felix is the UK Purina spokescat who does lots of tricks.
