- that is a very hard task but go to www.connectingneibors.com
- It depends on what you want to make, first you want to get a ribbon for the style you want and get whatever you want from glitter to buttons and knick knacks. The essential thing is to make sure you don't have choking hazards on there. You can use velcro to close it. That and a glue gun and you're on your way to making dog collars.
- I used an old leather belt that doesn't fit me anymore. for small dogs use a childs belt. I just measured and cut off the excess. I have a leather hole punch but you can use a sharp pair of scissors to make new holes. Use a lighter to singe the new hole so it doesn't get larger.
- you can knit or crosie one ( think thats how youy spell crosie...do you know what i mean? croshiey? something like that)
- i dont know but be very carefull to make sure it wont choke ur dog deffinatley use velcro
- As a Master Dog Trainer I have learned how to make them using almost any kind of material. I use leather but I have a leather working kit. You can buy a simple collar and make a cover for it. You will need a buckle and the material your are using to make the collar. At one end attach the buckle, figure out how much material will be turned back to hold the buckle and in the middle of that fold punch out 3 or 4 holes so that you create a slit to put the prong of the buckle through. Punch holes at the other end. You can also make a matching leach. Using the same material as you did for the collar. Measure out about 7 foot, at one end attach a snap and sew it into place and make another loop at the other end big enough so that you can get your hand in and out with ease. You will probably need a heavy duty needle with an awl to sew these items together.
