I would like to try my hand at making dog collars?

I like doing all things creative and would like to try my hand at making dog collars. what material is best to use as in for the lining etc and where would i get this from online? also where id get thefastenings etc.

1. Cool! Look at some designer collars to get ideas of what they use. Just about any materials you need are available online. Just do a search for wholesale ...whatever material you need.
2. If you use leather, or weave the collars, you necessarily won't have to use a liner-if you do, thinner nylon webbing works well. As for the fastenings-your local farm supply or hardware store should carry them, or be able to order them for you. They're relatively inexpensive if you use brass or silver (not sterlling).
