  1. Nylon web collars are extremely easy to make. You can find instruction on how to make them here - http://abbyk9.blogspot.com/2006/07/racing-stripes.htm Most sewing and craft stores sell a wide variety of nylon webbing as well as ribbons you can use to decorate plain webbing, and the buckles and fittings that you need. Where I'm at in the US, the plastic slide-lock buckles are around $2, and webbing goes for anywhere from $0.50 a yard to $3 a yard depending on the type and style. I would imagine the prices are comparable in Australia. I'd recommend going on Google Australia and looking up nylon webbing to find online stores. If you have old and worn web collars, you can also reuse the buckles and fittings from those. :) This is a collar I made - http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i58/abbydogblog/collar/DSC05575.jpg - it's made from black nylon webbing, decorated with blue and white striped ribbon. I use this collar for our Therapy Dog work and had it embroidered with the text "Therapy Dog" on the opposite side. (Any embroidery shop can put your dog's name or custom text on it.)
  2. I have a lovely link for you, but it is on my work computer ... leave it with me and I will post it as soon as I get to work :-) ******* Here you go ...http://www.cdwplus.com/collarpage.html These are not webbing collars, but instead are made from fabric, which makes them easily washable and means that a huge variety of patterns and designs can be used. Collar Hardware is available in all sizes. Nancy's site does not offer overseas shipping, but if you email her she will be happy to help. I ordered hardware and patterns and make the collars to sell, as well as for my own dogs.
